tested to harmful substances
OEKO-TEX 100 STANDARD
The Oeko-Tex 100 Standard comprehensively addresses the Human Ecology component of textile products. It evaluates and screens for any harmful substances present within processed textiles intended to come into contact with consumers. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 encompasses the industries established testing criteria for textile products and also addresses quality assurance and test procedures. It not only takes into account the finished textile goods, but also any associated accessories and "grey" product areas such as fibers, yarns and buttons. In this standard, the relevant harmful substances are defined together with limiting values, taking into consideration the intended use of the product. For example: clothing articles worn close to the skin such as underwear and baby products. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Mark (Öko-Tex) is probably the most widely recognized standard in textiles, which sets strict limits on the amount of substances harmful to consumers which can be found in the finished textile product. Although Oeko-Tex standards only address specifically consumer’s health issues, the necessity to comply with the criteria induces better environmental practices at the processing and manufacturing level. The standards offer significant environmental benefits.

THE FUTURE OF THE WOLF AND THE FUTURE OF MOST ANIMALS IN THE WORLD IS IN HUMAN HANDS. WE HAVE TO CHOOSE IN WHICH WORLD WE WISH TO LIVE AND WHICH PLACES WE WANT TO LEAVE FOR WILD ANIMALS. IF WE CHOOSE TO ACCEPT THE WOLF, THEN IT WILL ADAPT TO OUR PRESENCE. IT WILL DEPEND ON OUR LEVEL OF TOLERANCE... BUT IGNORANCE IS THE FIRST CAUSE OF INTOLERANCE. THAT`S WHY WE WOULD LIKE TO SPREAD OUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT WOLFS THANK TO A FUTURE WOLFS CENTER.

black bear research
After seeing very interesting documentary about black bear in Minnesota, we feel responsible to share some information about this great project with you.
Wildlife Research Institute Working with biologist Lynn Rogers, Ph.D., for over 40 years, the Wildlife Research Institute (WRI) is conducting the longest and most detailed black bear study and the largest educational outreach program ever done for black bears. Research focuses on improving coexistence between people and bears in an increasingly urbanized environment. WRI provides the information to over a hundred million people each year through TV, radio, books, magazines, museum exhibits, black bear courses, and the Internet. It created the content for the North American Bear Center's new Visitor Center, which opened near Ely, Minnesota, on May 5, 2007. WRI works with government agencies to improve bear management. WRI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by course fees, lecture fees, memberships, donors, volunteers, merchandise sales, and dedicated volunteers. Want to know more about black bears? Join a Black Bear Course (a field course with wild black bears), and check the North American Bear Center's award-winning website at www.bear.org.
As people learn more about black bears, they become more tolerant. Today, people are allowing black bears to repopulate parts of America where bears have not lived for over a century. Visit iteractive life webcam of black bear Lily & Hope , is very sweet and do not forget to support them & donate.
